Lots near Lewisville Lake have their own drainage quirks — higher water tables in spots, runoff that has to be managed. We grade with the lake's hydrology in mind so new sod actually roots instead of washing out.

    Old surfaces removed. Base excavated to proper depth. Drainage planned for clay-soil reality.

    Pavers and flagstone installed by hand. Cut and finish edges. Pressure wash and seal.

Built on proper base, 20+ years easily. The base prep is the whole game in North Texas clay. Skipped or rushed base prep is what causes settling and cracking.

Pavers or flagstone — which holds up better?

Both hold up if the base is right. Pavers give you a tighter, modular look and are easier to repair. Flagstone is more organic and works better with native plantings. We pick based on the site and style, not on what we have leftover.

How is hardscape priced?

Born and raised in North Texas. Started Loera's Landscaping in 2010. Today the team handles sod, synthetic turf, lawncare, hardscape, native design, outdoor lighting, and holiday lighting across Carrollton, Plano, Frisco, Dallas, and the surrounding metroplex. Omar still does every on-site estimate personally. Personally oversees every base prep on hardscape. Failures happen when base prep is rushed.
