Some jobs we just have to share. This one came together fast — a tired, patchy lawn in the morning, fresh, level Palisades Zoysia sod rolled out by the end of the day. The kind of transformation that makes the whole house look different from the curb.
Before

Thin, uneven, washed-out — the kind of yard that's been fighting clay soil and summer heat for a few seasons. Reseeding wasn't going to fix it. The grade needed work and the existing turf was too far gone.
After

Cleared, regraded, and laid with fresh Palisades Zoysia the same day. Tight seams, level surface, deep green. A few weeks of careful watering and this lawn will be fully rooted, knit together, and ready for summer.
Why Palisades Zoysia
Palisades is a tough, drought-tolerant Zoysia bred for Texas yards. It handles full sun, takes light shade better than Bermuda, holds its color longer into the fall, and feels noticeably softer underfoot. Mowing pressure is lower too — once it's established, you're not chasing it every five days the way you do with Bermuda. For a lot of DFW homeowners, it's the right call.
Why Spring Is the Window
Late April is one of the best stretches all year for sod in North Texas. Warm soil, regular rain, and a long growing season ahead — the new turf has every advantage to root in deep before the August heat shows up. We're booking installs across Carrollton, Dallas, Plano, Frisco, Coppell, Lewisville, and the rest of the metroplex right now.
